My mission for Touch of Life Chiropractic is very simple - end the pain and suffering in my community and help my patients live a healthier, fuller life. Many in my community suffer needlessly because they simply don’t know there is a way of life free from unrelenting, chronic pain that many, many people experience every day.I fractured my spine while in Chiropractic school and I know what it is like to feel very serious, life-altering back pain. Dr. Todd Stranahan, D.C. attended Parker University where he graduated at the top of his class, Summa Cum Laude.

Dr. Todd comes to us with a significant background of medical experience and public service and is excited to be serving the Austin community once again.

He worked locally as a Firefighter for nearly ten years at Lake Travis Fire Dept., where he was honored as Firefighter of the Year.

Dr. Todd radiates a calm and caring attitude for others in need, powered by his passion to serve humanity.

He holds three Bachelors in Biochemistry, Health and Wellness, and Human Anatomy. Chiropractic is a way of life for him with his brother, Dr. Tim Stranahan, D.C. in Spicewood, and wife, Dr. Ashley Stranahan, D.C. in Cedar Park.

Dr. Todd was a nationally ranked collegiate water skier and enjoyed many outdoor sports from racing mountain bikes and motocross, to fly fishing with his family.

He now spends all of his free time with his beautiful wife, Dr. Ashley, and his adorable son, Case Canyon Stranahan. He is grateful for their love and support and he looks forward to the opportunity to serve you and your family.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Consultation

You will have a 1 on 1 visit with the doctor to discuss your health concerns and the reason for your visit.

Examination

At the conclusion of your consultation, we will perform a complete and comprehensive chiropractic exam.

Report of Findings

Your report of findings will be scheduled a day or two after your Initial Consultation. This will allow Dr. Todd to study your exam findings, along with any radiology or history you have, at which point we will share the results that we found with you. You may invite anyone in your family to accompany you if you choose. Your Report of Findings includes a detailed analysis of what you need in order to best resolve the problem that brought you into our office. We consider your current lifestyle choices, goals for the future, and challenges that are standing in your way. This is why our recommendations are extremely comprehensive and have the chance to be the solution that you have been seeking to find.

Ongoing

Our entire staff strives to keep waiting times to a minimum, so we ask that all patients be prompt for their appointments so we can stay on track. Your adjustments will be given by the doctor, then anything else done during that visit will depend on the doctor’s recommendations. Stretching, exercise instruction, or other advice, may be given as part of the doctor's plan for you. Questions are not only welcomed, they are encouraged. Knowledge is power.
